HALAL CARGO HANDLING

BIACC became a HALAL compliant terminal since 2016. Halal cargo is segregated from non-Halal cargo throughout the Terminal processes. “Sertu” services is also provided for ULD.

BIACC being the only accredited Halal logistics terminal and warehouse in Brunei by International Halal Integrity Alliance – IHIA, is well versed to handle Halal cargo movements. Both our facilities and man power resources are well trained with qualified Halal auditors in ensuring your Halal cargo is processed and managed throughout the supply chain in full compliance with the general principles of Shariah.

Our warehouse is fully dedicated for Halal storage and handling of goods and materials. In the handling process, there is a segregation between non-halal both food and non-food products, thus ensuring no risk of cross-contamination resulted from segregated of non-halal storage within the warehouse.

It is BIACC policy to provide such service in accordance to Halalan-Toyyiban Assurance that links producers, goods and/or cargo with consumers with Halalan-Toyyiban requirements, thus preserving the Halalan-toyyiban integrity of the products, goods and/or cargo.
